Day of Hope - Cultural Fundraising Festival 2022

Missions

Our 2022 DAY OF HOPE put the fun in fundraising with a high-impact, festival-style event that celebrated our multicultural school community while raising valuable funds for 100% hOPE – a charity that King's supports in Uganda. 100% hOPE provide many necessities and programs for orphaned and underprivileged children where the charity owns 11.5 acres of land in Mityana. They are currently building Hope Village with children's homes, a medical clinic, primary, secondary and vocational training schools and self-sustainable projects to make a significant difference in the lives and future of hundreds of children and communities. It was incredible to see our entire College community getting behind our Missions program by donating to the charity, purchasing items from our LIFE Canteen and experiencing the cultural concerts performed in the Amphitheatre by our talented groups of Samoan, Tongan, Maori, Japanese and Chinese students. Our Kindy and Pre Prep students were also treated to their own special multicultural show in the Noah's Ark garden. As we regularly practise our Foundational Values at King's and faithfully show love and compassion for people in need, we can change the world for good. Thank you families for your continued generosity!
