Emerging Women Leaders' Masterclass

Student Leadership

On Thursday, 4 August, King's took a group of six Year 12 female leaders to attend the Emerging Young Women Leaders Business Skills Masterclass at Southern Cross University (SCU). Chloe Muller (College Captain), Imogen Schweitzer, Chelsea Lum, Avalon Otene, Sayla Donnelly and Emma Shearer all relished the unique opportunity to hear from a panel of phenomenal women who are all experienced in change creation, within their chosen fields. King's own alumnus, Candice Richards (Class of 2018) was among the panel of advisors as she shared her story as an aspiring Occupational Therapist and a current Student Ambassador at SCU. The girls learned some tips for delivering a memorable elevator pitch, success hacks for leaders, and future career advice. It was a privilege to honour these amazing students by giving them an opportunity to glean insights from like-minded women, to help them continue to grow as Christian leaders for tomorrow's generation.
