Honouring our 2023 Student Leaders

Pimpama

Our annual Leadership Induction service was held on Wednesday, 22 February. One of our core foundational values at King's Christian College that we encourage students to develop is to lead with integrity, show self-control and act with humility. It was heartening to see our student leaders of 2023 stepping up to take on new responsibilities with enthusiasm and passion.

Our campus principal, Mr Rob Verreynne, delivered an inspiring message encouraging us to be the salt of the earth and light of the world, reminding us of the importance of using our God-given gifts and abilities to positively impact those around us.

It was extra special for our student leaders to have their church pastors present them with their leadership badges and join us in praying for them.

We congratulate all our high school students that were inducted into leadership positions. We believe that God has great plans for our students as they continue to make a positive impact in serving the school community.

"You are the salt of the earth. But if the salt loses its saltiness, how can it be made salty again? It is no longer good for anything, except to be thrown out and trampled underfoot. You are the light of the world. A town built on a hill cannot be hidden. Neither do people light a lamp and put it under a bowl. Instead they put it on its stand, and it gives light to everyone in the house. In the same way, let your light shine before others, that they may see your good deeds and glorify your Father in heaven."
