King's 10 Year Reunion: Celebrating Memories and Renewing Friendships

Alumni

On Saturday, 6 May, King's Class of 2013 gathered at Surfer’s Pavilion to celebrate their 10-year reunion. The event was the perfect chance for former classmates to share stories and reminisce about their school days in the relaxed venue set on the Nerang River. More than 70 guests streamed into the venue at 6pm for the special event, eager to catch up with past teachers and old friends. It was great to see our 2013 School Captains, Matt Hager and Tessa Sutherland, at the event, as well as several KTTC alumni. One of the most surprising guests was a former student who now lives in Canada. He extended his holiday in Australia to attend the reunion, and his unexpected appearance delighted former classmates.

The 10-year reunion was filled with constant chatter, laughter and even a few tears, as the group relived memories, renewed friendships, and were reminded of the importance of staying in touch. Events like this are a testament to the strong community that exists at our College and the enduring friendships that are formed by our students. Congratulations to King's Class of 2013 on a successful reunion - we look forward to many more in the future!
