Last year's Chapel Captain, Shem Lonsdale, recently graduated with an amazing ATAR of 96.05. Shem shared his most effective study habit and best piece of advice for getting good results, as well as more about his plans for 2021...

"What is your most effective study habit?"
- Collaborating with others.
"What do you do when things get stressful?"
- I remember my purpose and motivation behind working hard.
"How do you manage your time and avoid procrastination?"
- I segment my study or assignment work into smaller pieces, and fully focus during these times by removing distractions.
"What is your best piece of study advice for obtaining good results?"
- Work hard, but not aimlessly. Be smart about what you put your time into and be aware of where the marks are being allocated.
"How did you feel leading up to the exams last year?"
- I was stressed but was able to best prepare myself by consistently putting the work in and making the most of help from my teachers, peers, and the resources given to me at King's.
"What achievement are you most proud of?"
- Receiving the Dux Proxime Accessit at King's in 2020.
"What are your plans for this year?"
- I am studying a Bachelor of Physiotherapy at Griffith University and serving as a Youth Leader at Glow Youth.
