King's Superheroes are Changing the World

See More of our Superhero Students

As a Christian school, we are passionate about fostering a culture of generously serving others, as we share what we have to care for those in need. Every term at King’s, we hold a LIFE fundraising day in Primary and High School and we encourage all students to be involved as we have fun raising money for a specific charity. We launched our 2022 LIFE Program last week, led by our student LIFE Team, who help to organise and run our fundraising events throughout the year.

King's LIFE Team

Our LIFE Program offers Years 6 – 12 students the perfect avenue to practise their leadership and service skills, make new friends and volunteer their time to help others. The LIFE Program even has its own student media team to promote the different projects students are involved in.

Primary Fundraiser – Superhero Day

This term, our Primary community were excited to fundraise for Bali Christian College (BCC) for the first time ever, with an out-of-this-world Superhero Dress Up Day and BBQ lunch. The Year 6 LIFE Team did an incredible job of organising and running the lunchtime fundraiser, and as a result, raised an impressive $2,708! BCC will use this money to help families with school fees and purchase much-needed learning devices. Bali has been severely affected by poverty due to COVID and the lack of tourism, so it was also an opportunity to raise awareness about issues in our neighbouring countries, as we foster greater compassion in our young people. Well done Primary School for helping to change the world by showing up as your favourite superhero and bringing your donations for Bali Christian College.

High School Fundraiser – Free T-Shirt Day

Our High School community enjoyed a free t-shirt day and lunchtime BBQ event to raise funds for Teen Challenge – a local organisation that continues to help thousands of young people overcome addiction, abuse and other life-controlling problems, giving them a second chance at life. Thanks to our enthusiastic, servant-hearted High School LIFE team who also did an exceptional job in organising this event, and successfully raised $3,108 for Teen Challenge!

A very big THANK YOU to our King's parents who continue to support missions projects, as we partner with local and international organisations to make a positive impact on people's lives!
