Parade of Champions - Paul Hooper

Each Foundational Values Assembly we are excited to honour those King's Kids that are excelling with a "Parade of Champions".  This assembly we honour Paul Hooper (BMX)

Paul has completed five out six shootout series (last one being in May) so far this year and just this weekend Paul completed a back to back round at Caboolture and Sunshine Coast Yadina.
Paul did exceptionally well both days coming in the top three and just yesterday he made the semi finals so such a big improvement and achievement for Paul representing Beenleigh BMX Club in the 8s.
Paul came 2nd twice and 1st once made it into the semi finals and also had the top speed of crossing the finish line in 39 seconds which was the fastest of the day in his age group which he was very proud of himself.
Both long days but very worth it in the long run.
Paul is thriving at school and now in Bmxing as he is starting to get use to his daily routine of attending three days of bmx training in the evenings and waking early to catch the school bus, making sure he's read his book and completed his homework.
Paul will also says a little prayer before he races each time, says "the lord is helping me mum".
Paul will also be attending state series rounds in June July, August and September, then onto the National Championships in Shepparton end of October.
