Prep to Year 2 Fun Run

The 2023 Prep to Year 2 Fun Run was a delightful event full of colour, fitness, fun activities, and support from friends, family, and staff members. The students did tremendously well running the fun run course and navigating the various obstacles in their way. The sack races and egg and spoon races were heaps of fun; enhancing house spirit, teamwork, and encouragement.
 
Thank you to all the staff for their help running the event and to the Pimpama parents and friends for providing the generous morning tea of a muffin and fruit after the event. Thank you also to all of the parents, families and friends that came to support our students on the day and a massive shout out to the parents who volunteered to run the course at the end of the event. 
 
Congratulations to Finney house on winning the Prep to Year 2 Fun Run with 376 points. Rayleigh was a close second with 345 points, followed by Newton with 291 points and Tyndale with 221 points. With the Principal's Cup a very close race at the end of Term 1, the student's participation in the Fun Run will no doubt play a big part in deciding who takes out this ultimate prize at the end of the year.
