Real Life Learning of Dairy Production

On Wednesday, 8 February, our Year 11 Food & Nutrition students attended a field trip to Tommerup’s Dairy Farm. Tommerup’s Dairy Farm is located in the Kerry Valley, south of Beaudesert, and is a sixth-generation family property. Students enjoyed the interactive experience where they had the opportunity to increase their understanding of The Dairy Food System including dairy production, by-products, waste management and sustainability.
