Street Science Transforms the Breezeway
Our Year 1 and 2 students put their science knowledge into practice this week as part of a fun incursion with the team from Street Science. The Breezeway buzzed with the sound of budding young scientists, who turned dried PVA glue particles into bouncy balls by simply adding water. This hands-on activity aligned to their current topic on matter changing state and it was exciting to see the students' amazement as the particles transformed from solid to liquid in front of them. Later in the day, they observed some daring science displays from a greater distance, as Scientist Raphael wowed his young audience with colourful chemical reactions and showed some exciting ways we can see God's glory through the lens of science, in our daily lives.
