Student Success Celebrated

Wednesday 10 August saw the High School community come together to recognise the Academic, Cultural and Sporting achievements of our students. It was wonderful to have so many parents able to join us in celebrating the hard work, commitment and diligence of their children.

Our assembly started with a beautiful performance of Saint-Saens - ‘The Swan’ by two of our talented musicians, Janice Park and Zorion Tan. After which over 100 students received their honours awards, in the form of a certificate and a badge they can wear with their formal uniform, from Mr Verreynne. Of particular note, this semester was the 15 Year 9 and 10 students who received silver honours in recognition of their mission trip to St George in April this year. This was the first ‘solo’ mission trip for Pimpama campus students, and we are so proud of their contribution to the St George community.

We look forward to recognising the achievements of even more students at our semester 2 Honour Assembly to be held early in Term 1 2023.
