Sun Shines on Primary Athletics Carnival

The Primary Athletics Carnival for 2022 hit the track on a beautiful Winter's day at the High Performance Centre in Runaway Bay.  The Primary students sang their hearts out to see which house will receive the honour of the best war cry, which will be announced at an assembly soon. 

First off the ranks were the 1500 m races followed by the various field events - shotput, high jump, long jump, discuss.  The 100m, 200m and 800m track events were fiercely competitive among the runners in all the age groups.
