Surfers Become the Subjects of Digital Art Class

Digital Art is an elective subject that teaches students practical design and photography skills. On Thursday, 16 February, the Year 12 Digital Art class went to Coolangatta to work on some surf photography and landscape photos. Students were asked to develop and demonstrate their ability to capture photos of surfers in action, as part of the excursion. The students had an enjoyable morning and produced some great photos. Michael Hay's photos (#1 & 2) and Yeji Lim's photo (#3) are of unknown surfers enjoying the clean conditions at Snapper Rocks. They used a telephoto lens and focus-tracking techniques to capture these impressive shots.
