1-week Film Teen Camp - Write, direct, shoot and edit your own film on our professional film set!
1-week Acting Teen Camp - Learn how to act by actually acting on set with a film crew! Each student will take home their own audition reel scene.

We'll cover career planning tips, differences between school and uni, course information, and admission pathways. SAE Brisbane is opening its doors on Saturday 15th of April for Create For A Day, a one-of-a-kind full day program where students can come to our campus and work on inspiring creative projects in the fields of Animation, Audio, Film, Games, Design, Songwriting & Music Production. Yr 10 - 12 only. All workshops are run at the same time, therefore only one workshop can be attended by an individual. *Lunch included. Tickets are limited and going fast, don’t miss out!UQ Medicine Information Evening: Save the date

Applying to study in the USA? As an internationally accredited testing centre, TSS offers the following tests on recommended timeline below:
- YEAR 10: First PSAT
- YEAR 11: Second PSAT
The Southport School is an accredited testing centre for the U.S. College Board and is offering the testing. Email Helen at Helen.McCleary@tss.qld.edu.au, then payment process should be completed at: https://forms.tss.qld.edu.au/psat/. PSAT is on Saturday 22 April, 2023.

Latest School Based Traineeships for Year 11
Current vacancies can be found on the Traineeship Vacancies Notice Board.
These change on a weekly basis as new positions become available.
Students who cannot find anything that appeals to them in these vacancies need to source their own employer.

Defence Force Work Experience Program
The Defence Work Experience Program provides opportunities for young Australians interested in a career at Defence to gain exposure to the type of work that is available.
Opportunities are available for both secondary students and you must be at least 15 years of age at the time of the placement.
