Volleyball Queensland Beach Cup

On Sunday, 12 March and Monday, 13 March, we sent two boys and four girls teams to compete at Volleyball Queensland Beach Cup at Coolangatta Beach. The six teams have been training every Wednesday morning since week two this year, with head coach Mr Glenn Pyne and assisting him Mr Andy Pickering. 

This competition was statewide, meaning the competition was tough, but all of our teams placed in the top four of the state. This was the first beach volleyball competition we have sent teams to at King’s Pimpama, and to end up in the top four in Queensland is an exceptional achievement. 

Thank you to all the parents, friends and staff who came to support our students on both days of the tournament. A special thank you to Mr Glenn Pyne for his dedication to the program and the students.

We are very proud of all our students who have committed to training and given their best efforts over the two days. The above results are a testament to our students and their commitment to training.
