Year 10 Physical Education “Training Day”


This term, our Year 10 Physical Education students were tasked with devising a two-day recovery program to support their netball pre-season fitness session. During Week 5, they took part in an intense 'Training Day' where they completed a number of circuits and learned about recovery techniques. The training day leads into their assignment, where they will evaluate the effectiveness of their devised recovery program by focusing on two recovery methods that best reduce fatigue and optimise recovery. 

Every student did an amazing job on the day. Miss Green and Mr Trengeza were very impressed with how students applied themselves, worked as a team and put a lot of thought into their recovery plan. The ice baths gave students an insight into cold therapy and a chance to cool down after working up a sweat. Well done Year 10 PE and thank you to the teachers who assisted on the day!
