Year 12 - My Last First Day of High School

This week, our Year 12 students returned to campus for a significant milestone, their last first day of high school. It was a day designed to set the tone for the year ahead, grounded in purpose, connection, and reflection.
The day began with a powerful, student-led chapel, where our Year 12 Chapel Culture Captains led worship and shared inspiring messages. Their leadership set a thoughtful and faith-filled foundation, reminding students of the values that will guide them through their final year.
Throughout the day, students participated in a range of activities aimed at supporting them holistically. These included team-building activities to strengthen relationships, sessions focused on holistic health and wellbeing, and practical conversations around how to look after themselves during a demanding year.
Students also engaged in a Q&A panel with previous Year 12 graduates, who shared honest insights, encouragement, and advice drawn from their own experiences.
The day also provided time for students to connect within their Houses, meeting with their Heads of House to reflect on expectations, goals, and the importance of finishing strong together.
The final moment of the day was the presentation of their Senior Jerseys.
It was a purposeful and memorable start to the year, and we look forward to walking alongside our Year 12 students as they embrace their final year of school with courage, commitment, and community.
