Year 12 Tunnel 2022

Secondary

King's Year 12 Tunnel is one of the most significant ceremonies for our College and especially our graduating students as they enjoy their final walk through the campus, cheered on by King's staff and their school peers. Friday, 18 November, was that memorable morning for our Class of 2022. They began the traditional 'tunnel' send-off in the auditorium where Chaplain, Mr Muir, prayed over them. Then they walked slowly through the campus to the High School precinct, cheered along the bridge and walkway that was lined with hundreds of students from Kindy to Year 6. Our graduates enjoyed morning tea in High School with Mr Davis, Mr Meyers, Mr Vallance and many of their teachers, who came to reminisce and wish them well. The Year 12s returned back over the bridge toward the front gates, this time cheered on by our high school students and their parents and friends who were waiting for them. The tunnel has been getting longer every year and continues to mark such an emotional moment in every Year 12 student's school journey as they depart our campus for the last time as students. Congratulations to our Class of 2022 - the Year of Solidarity - you made it! Thank you for the legacy you leave in our College community - you will be missed and King's will continually pray for God's richest blessings over your life as you begin your new and exciting adventures.
