Year 2 Forces Fair

This term, Year 2 have been working on their toys as part of their Integrated Studies and Design Technology unit in which they have been learning all about forces and carrying out some awesome experiments. They have been busy designing and constructing their toys out of recycled materials and were very excited to showcase them to parents, staff and students. The Forces Fair was full of excitement with 5 zones set up in the auditorium: Push n Pull Pocket, Friction Frenzy, Magnetic Mania, Air Resistance Realm and Buoyancy Bubble zone.

It was a fabulous morning and all the Year 2 teachers were incredibly proud of the students’ creative achievements, their designs and their knowledge and understanding of forces.
