Year 3's Space Adventures and Expo

Primary

On Friday, 8 September, Year 3 showcased their work from the Term 3 Science unit entitled Third Rock from the Sun. During the term, the students had learned about the rotation of the Earth around the sun and how it affects the seasons and climates around the world. They also learned about the phases of the moon and their effects on the tides. The students created eye-catching dioramas to display their knowledge and enjoyed sharing many interesting facts with the parents and friends who visited. They used their experiences of being human sundials to create sundial displays that demonstrated the sun's movement throughout the day. They also utilised their knowledge to craft informative reports and creative acrostic poems about space.

Congratulations Year 3 for your exceptional work which reflected Psalms 19:1-2.

"The heavens declare the glory of God; the skies proclaim the work of His hands. Day after day, they pour forth speech; night after night, they display knowledge."
