Year 6 Cairns Camp - A Trip of a Lifetime

The moment I stepped into the plane heading to Cairns, I knew I was in for the trip of a lifetime. 

Our activities kicked off with a challenging high ropes adventure, where we had to persevere through some tricky balancing, flying fox zooms over crocodile enclosures and narrow suspension bridges.

On the second day of camp, we went to the Great Barrier Reef, where we went snorkelling and cruising on a glass-bottom boat. On the reef, we saw different types of beautiful corals. Some of us even swam next to sea turtles.

At night-time devotions, we focused on eliminating negative labels and defining moments. Sometimes we would get into our mini groups to talk about devotions. This camp was a spectacular camp filled with adventures and wonder. We are so grateful for the time we got to spend with friends, in God’s presence and in nature.
