Year 7 & 11 Girls Afternoon
Year 7 and Year 11 girls gathered together on Friday, 3 March, for a fun-filled afternoon of laser skirmish, volleyball games and loom bracelet making.
Laser skirmish was undoubtedly one of the most exciting activities of the afternoon. Armed with their laser guns, the girls experienced the adrenaline rush of playing laser skirmish and trying to outsmart their opponents. It wasn't just the students who were having a blast — the teachers were just as enthusiastic and enjoying the game as much as the students.
Our students demonstrated good sportsmanship at the volleyball games as they encouraged each other throughout the afternoon. The girls also had the opportunity to participate in a more relaxed and creative activity, making loom bracelets. The afternoon concluded with the girls enjoying some delicious pizza.
The afternoon's activities aimed to foster positive relationships between the Year 7 and Year 11 girls, helping students to form meaningful connections with each other. The activities encouraged students to work together as a team, develop leadership skills and build stronger relationships. Overall, the Year 7 and Year 11 girls afternoon was an enjoyable experience for everyone involved and helped to cultivate a stronger sense of community within our school.
