Year 7 Camp 2021
Our Year 7 students enjoyed a wet and wonderful camp at Burleigh CYC, on the north side of Burleigh Heads National Park. The camp theme was 'Sun, Surf and Sand', with all activities making the most of the idyllic location. The students experienced some typical Gold Coast activities, such as surfing and stand up paddleboarding, although the weather was anything but typical. Students endured heavy rain for much of their time at camp but took it all in their stride.
Memorable moments included abseiling down Point Danger, tubing behind a boat on the Tallebudgera and evening devotions, where many students made a first-time decision to follow Jesus.
