Year 7 Camp at Burleigh

Year 7 had a great time away in week 4 — with plenty of activities and challenges for them to overcome! Students were able to rock climb, canoe, hike and compete in an amazing race! Unfortunately, the surf conditions and a storm on the second day restricted the activities, but spirits were high and students took on the challenge of the other activities planned. 

The theme of the Year 7 camp this year was "Who is Jesus?" and students were able to explore the themes of our Foundational Values — wisdom, aspiration and courage. Devotion time at night was a highlight of the camp, with many students returning to school saying it was their favourite part of the trip. 

Each night the 'Camper of the Day' awards were presented. The students who received these accolades should be commended for their efforts! Camper of the day, house games, and house spirit points all contributed to the house points on camp. 

The winning house of the Year 7 camp was TYNDALE. Well done to the Year 7 Tyndale students!
