Local Councillor Visits Yr 6 at Logan Village Campus

Yr 6 Local Govt Visit

Year 6 are learning about different types of government. This week our local Councillor, Mr Scott Bannan came to speak about all things council and different levels of government. The students came prepared with questions ranging from "What motivates you?" and "How is a Councillor elected?" to "What happens if you aren't re-elected? and the funniest, "What's your weirdest food combination".

The student's favourite part was learning about all the great initiatives Mr Bannan has been involved in bringing to the community and shaking his hand at the end, we wish him well on his DAKAR Rally adventure in 2024.
