Your Opportunity

We are seeking a suitably qualified, passionate, and highly skilled Christian staff member to join our team of dedicated professionals who are committed to fostering a culture of academic excellence and innovation. This role will support Science, Food Technology, and Technology subjects, with a focus on the preparation and delivery of practical activities.

The successful candidate will demonstrate a strong commitment to providing quality learning experiences that reflect innovative 21st-century practices, including higher-order thinking, IT integration, and project-based learning.

Key Attributes and Requirements

The ideal candidate will:

• Hold relevant qualifications and experience as a High School Science Laboratory Technician.

• Demonstrate experience and a willingness to work across Technology and Arts departments.

• Exhibit strong teamwork and collaboration skills.

• Display flexibility and adaptability in a dynamic school environment.

• Work effectively with both staff and students.

• Possess excellent verbal and written communication skills.

• Present with professionalism, approachability, and a friendly manner.

Your curriculum vitae should include details for;

• at least 2 recent professional referees (including your current employer)
• at least 1 referee who can attest to your suitability to work within the values and culture of an expanding Christian school (preferably from a pastor or minister).

ABOUT OUR COLLEGE

King’s is an expanding, multi-campus school that places paramount importance on the development of the whole child, with a particular focus on providing every student the opportunity to develop Christian leadership skills that will prepare them for their future. The REEDY CREEK CAMPUS (on the southern end of the Gold Coast) has more than 2600 students on-site, from Early Learning through to Year 12. This campus also includes a Trade Training College.

Our PIMPAMA CAMPUS (on the northern end of the Gold Coast) currently has over 2000 students on-site, from Early Learning to Year 12.

King’s LOGAN VILLAGE CAMPUS (in south-west Logan) currently has over 1000 students on-site, offering places for students from Early Learning through to High School.
