Personal Assistant to the Principal and Office Manager – Logan Village

This is a full-time (5 days per week) position, starting in Term 2 of 2026.

About the Role

King’s Christian College – Logan Village is seeking a highly organised, professional, and proactive Personal Assistant to provide executive support to the Principal and the management of Adminstration staff. This is a key role within the school, ensuring the effective coordination of the Principal’s office and contributing to the smooth operation of the school’s leadership and administrative functions.

The successful candidate will demonstrate exceptional organisational and communication skills, a high level of discretion, and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a dynamic school environment. This role is ideal for an experienced office professional who enjoys supporting leadership and contributing to a positive school culture.

Key Responsibilities

The Personal Assistant to the Principal will be responsible for:

  • Providing high-level administrative and executive support to the Principal
  • Managing the Principal’s calendar, appointments, and meeting schedules
  • Preparing correspondence, reports, presentations, and briefing documents
  • Coordinating meetings, including agendas, minutes, and follow-up actions
  • Acting as a point of contact between the Principal’s office and staff, parents, and external stakeholders
  • Assisting with the coordination of school events, leadership meetings, and key initiatives
  • Managing confidential information with discretion and professionalism
  • Supporting the effective communication of information across the school community
  • Assisting with administrative aspects of strategic projects and school operations
  • Oversee daily school office operations and support administrative systems
  • Support effective communication across the school community
  • Provide guidance, mentoring and coordination of office staff to ensure effective workflows and service delivery.
  • Assist with coordination of school events and leadership meetings.

  • Attention to detail and the ability to manage competing priorities in a busy environment

Experience and Qualifications

Applicants should ideally possess:

  • Previous experience in an executive assistant or senior administrative support role
  • Experience working in an educational environment (desirable but not essential)
  • Demonstrated ability to support senior leaders in a complex organisational setting
