Industry Liaison Officer

King’s Trade Training Centre (KTTC)

King’s Trade Training Centre (KTTC) provides a practical, hands-on education for students interested in trade and industry pathways. We are seeking an enthusiastic and highly organised Industry Liaison Officer to support our growing VET program by facilitating meaningful student industry engagement and strengthening relationships with employers and training organisations.

Key Responsibilities

  • Coordinate student apprenticeships, traineeships and industry placements
  • Manage and maintain student QCE planners, ensuring alignment with training and work placements
  • Build and maintain strong working relationships with industry partners and Registered Training Organisations (RTOs)
  • Act as the primary liaison between students, parents, employers and trainers
  • Provide general administrative support for KTTC’s vocational education and training programs

The successful applicant will demonstrate:

  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with confidence in building rapport
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Word and Excel
  • Excellent organisation and time-management skills, with the ability to multitask and meet deadlines
  • A proactive, professional and flexible approach to working with students and external stakeholders
  • Previous experience in VET coordination, school-based apprenticeships or liaising with RTOs (highly regarded)
  • A passion for supporting young people in their transition from school to the workforce

This is a Full Time (Term Time) contract position, commencing Term 1, 2026 (15 January 2026) and concluding at the end of Term 4, 2026 (4 December 2026).

Your curriculum vitae should include:

  • At least 2 recent professional referees (including your current employer)
  • At least 1 referee who can attest to your suitability to work within the values and culture of an expanding Christian school (preferably a pastor or minister)

Our PIMPAMA CAMPUS (on the northern end of the Gold Coast) currently has over 1500 students on-site, from Early Learning to Year 12.

King’s LOGAN VILLAGE CAMPUS (in south-west Logan) offers places for students from Early Learning through to High School.
