Applications are sought for the following position:

LIBRARY ASSISTANT

This is a Permanent Part-Time Term Time position, 4 days per week: Monday, Tuesday, Thursday & Friday, 9am to 5pm, based at our Pimpama Campus.

Main duties:
● Issue and return library books & textbooks
● Shelve all returned books
● Cover new books
● Supervise behaviour of students in the library
● Answer phone enquiries
● Create displays throughout the year

Essential
● Previous experience as a Library Assistant
● Competency in the Oliver library system is preferred
● The ability to manage your time effectively, prioritise tasks and meet deadlines
● Certificate in Library and Information Services or higher library studies will be highly regarded

Your curriculum vitae should include details for;

  • at least 2 recent professional referees (including your current employer)
  • at least 1 referee who can attest to your suitability to work within the values and culture of an expanding Christian school (preferably from a pastor or minister).

Our PIMPAMA CAMPUS (on the northern end of the Gold Coast) currently has over 1500 students on-site, from Early Learning to Year 12.

King’s LOGAN VILLAGE CAMPUS (in south-west Logan) offers places for students from Early Learning through to High School.
