Year 12 Program
The second year of the Sport Development Program (SDP) at KTTC combines an engaging blend of diploma qualifications, hands-on sport experiences and collaboration with industry experts. Graduating students will be eligible for a Queensland Certificate of Education (QCE) and will have the skills and qualifications to commence work or undertake additional tertiary studies (with an ATAR equivalent) through direct entry to Gold Coast universities.
About the Program
The Sport Development Program operates Monday to Thursday from 8:30am to 3:00pm and Friday from 8:00am to 12:00pm. The weekly timetable combines practical, off-site coaching experience with classroom-based learning, including the Diploma of Sport, Diploma of Leadership & Management and core academic subjects.
*The English curriculum is attained through a Diploma of Leadership and Management. This is delivered by King's English teachers to enhance the skills of students through relevant and engaging content.
The Year 12 class will have their own teacher, employed by King's, to oversee all aspects of the students' learning journey, including program deliverables, fostering King's culture and supervision.
