Digital Learning Officer
We are seeking a dynamic professional to fill the role of Digital Learning Officer at our Reedy Creek campus.
This is a Full Time (Term Time) position.
You will have expertise in digital systems and software applications to enhance the continuous improvement of teaching and learning practices across the College.
In this position, you will be responsible for designing and delivering effective training programs in line with the College’s digital learning strategic direction.
Your ability to blend coaching skills with meticulous administration will be essential for enhancing our staff’s continual IT development and up-skilling with new technologies.
Responsibilities:
- Training Program Design and Delivery:
Collaborate with IT subject matter experts to create engaging training content for digital systems, software applications, and hardware that enhance classroom learning
Conduct hands-on training sessions, workshops, and webinars with staff
Evaluate training effectiveness and adjust programs
- Individual and Group Coaching:
Provide personalised coaching to employees on digital learning tools
Address specific challenges related to software usage, system troubleshooting, and hardware maintenance
Foster a positive learning environment that encourages continuous learning and skill development
- Training Logistics and Administration:
Maintain accurate training records, including attendance, feedback, and progress
Book training venues, arrange equipment setup, and manage schedules
Serve as a point of contact for training partners and participants
- IT Policy Adherence:
Ensure that training aligns with established IT policies and security protocols
- Reporting and Improvement:
Generate reports on training activities, assess outcomes, and implement enhancements
Identify opportunities for new training programs or certifications
Requirements and Skills:
- Experience and Qualifications:
Proven track record as a Training Coach, IT Trainer, or similar role
Strong understanding of digital systems, software applications, and IT hardware
Proficiency in MS365, Apple and a familiarity with Learning Management Systems (LMS) is advantageous
- Coaching Skills:
Ability to motivate and guide staff in their digital learning journey
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Attention to Detail:
Strong organisational skills for managing training records and schedules
Keen eye for accuracy in documentation

- at least 1 referee who can attest to your suitability to work within the values and culture of an expanding Christian school (preferably from a pastor or minister).

Our PIMPAMA CAMPUS (on the northern end of the Gold Coast) currently has over 1200 students on-site, from Early Learning to Year 12.
King’s LOGAN VILLAGE CAMPUS (in south-west Logan) offers places for students from Early Learning through to High School.
