  • EARLY LEARNING EDUCATOR - INCLUSION SUPPORT

King’s Christian College is seeking a compassionate and experienced Inclusion Support Educator to join our Early Learning team. This role is ideal for an individual with a passion for nurturing young children with additional needs, and a commitment to inclusive, Christ-centred education.

As part of our growing community, you will work in partnership with educators, families, and support services to create a safe, supportive, and inclusive learning environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide targeted support for children with additional needs (e.g. developmental delays, disabilities, medical conditions), enabling their full participation in daily activities.
  • Collaborate with classroom educators to implement tailored strategies that foster inclusion and belonging
  • Assist in planning and delivering inclusive, play-based educational programs

Selection Criteria:

  • Certificate III or Diploma in Early Childhood Education and Care (required)
  • Demonstrated experience supporting children with additional needs
  • Knowledge of inclusion strategies and early intervention practices
  • Understanding of QKLG, EYLF, NQF, and NQS frameworks
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills to work effectively with families and educators
  • A positive, flexible attitude and a nurturing, child-focused approach
  • Current Blue Card (Working with Children Check)

King’s is an expanding, multi-Campus school that places paramount importance on the development of the whole child, with a particular focus on providing every student the opportunity to develop Christian Leadership skills that will prepare them for their future. The REEDY CREEK CAMPUS (on the southern end of the Gold Coast) has more than 2300 students on-site, from Early Learning through to Year 12. This campus also includes a Trade Training College.

Our PIMPAMA CAMPUS (on the northern end of the Gold Coast) currently has over 1200 students on-site, from Early Learning to Year 12.

King’s LOGAN VILLAGE CAMPUS (in south-west Logan) offers places for students from Early Learning through to High School.
